Kaysersberg, this is the ultimate village on the « route du vin » THE postcard of Alsace !
Here, you will find a concentrated version of the Alsace region : a historical center city filled with charming old half timbered houses, magnificent bay windows, geraniums decorating the windows, cobbled stone streets, the river goes through the city and overlooking the village, a medieval castle.
In order to discover the charms of Kaysersberg with the help of our maps, we invite you to take a walk for an hour. The historical tour is well marked and you will see the remarkable historical jewels: Sainte Croix church, the fortified bridge dominated by a 18th century castle, the fortifications and its medieval towers as well as the birth house of the famous Dr. Albert Schweitzer, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, which has become the museum of the same name.
A special tour comprising the doctor’s ideas has been created all around the old city.
