The excellence of Alsatian gastronomy in the Kaysersberg valley
In Alsace, gastronomy is an art of living! Quality products, respect for the seasons, the art of preparation, respect for traditions, creativity and rigour are the foundations of Alsatian cuisine, which many envy us.
As proof, our craftsmen and restaurateurs are recognised beyond our region, sometimes even internationally. Every year, numerous distinctions reward their know-how and their excellence. Let’s take a look at some of the titles obtained in recent months by our Alsatian craftsmen.

Restaurant Le Valtrivin enters the Gault&Millau Guide
After just 3 years in business, Le Valtrivin restaurant in Lapoutroie has just been listed in the Gault&Millau Guide as a Table Gourmande. Well done to Valéria Albakov and Tristan Ringenbach for this well-deserved accolade!
Best French beer for the Brasserie Bisaigue
The Brasserie Bisaigue of Kaysersberg had the honour of receiving a gold medal in the “Gose” category as well as the title of Best French Beer by the prestigious Brussels Beer Challenge, an international reference competition with 1800 beers tasted and 41 countries represented. The award-winning beer, Marius Beer, was created at the Chambard bar in Kaysersberg, with Jean-Baptiste Klein, sommelier at Olivier Nasti’s Table. A beautiful and successful collaboration, congratulations to them!

Jérôme Jaeglé, starred chef of the Alchémille restaurant in Kaysersberg, was awarded the 2023 Table à Explorer prize by the World’s Best Restaurant List on 29 November 2022.
On Friday 8 September 2023, Jérôme Jaeglé, a Michelin-starred chef from the Alchémille restaurant, was one of 6 candidates competing in the world’s greatest culinary competition, the Bocuse d’Or. He and his team took part in the selections for the Bocuse d’Or France, winning the silver medal.
On 28 October 2023, chef Jérôme Jaeglé and his Alchémille restaurant were confirmed as 40th in the We’re Smart Green Guide, which highlights the best plant-based restaurants in the world.
Alchémille was also named We’re Smart – Best Vegetables Restaurant 2023!

Gilles Pudlowski designates Olivier Nasti as Chef of the Year
Rain of rewards for the Chef Olivier Nasti of the Chambard in Kaysersberg: the famous Gilles Pudlowski has just designated him Cook of the Year during the Pudlo Alsace ceremony of February 27th, 2023! Another prize that rewards the chef and his team for the quality of the cuisine of the establishment La Table d’Olivier Nasti.

Congratulations to Chef Olivier Nasti (Hôtel-restaurants Spa Le Chambard) who once again this year has placed his exceptional restaurant in the top 1,000 of world gastronomy and is the first Alsatian in the ranking!
Olivier Nasti named Chevalier de l'Ordre National du Mérite
Olivier Nasti, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, has just been named Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite, by the national society of the Best Craftsmen of France, on November 24, 2022.
Gault & Millau Guide awards for the talents of Le Chambard
On 29 November 2022, chef Olivier Nasti of the Chambard restaurant in Kaysersberg was awarded the prestigious title of Cook of the Year 2023 by the Gault et Millau guide.
On 6 November 2023, Jean-Baptiste Klein was awarded the title of Sommelier of the Year 2024.

Emilie Bariseel, best apprentice in France
Emilie Bariseel, apprentice to Olivier Nasti, Michelin-starred chef at the Chambard restaurant in Kaysersberg, won the “Best Apprentice in France” cookery competition on Friday, September 29, 2023 in Paris.

Winner of the national final of the 12th edition of the Maitres Restaurateurs young talents competition on 21 November 2022
For the past 4 years, this competition has been highlighting the territories and the talent of young people with the transmission of know-how.
On November 15, Alexandre Zoccolan was awarded the prestigious title of “Jeune Talent Escoffier”. At just 25 years of age, this talented Alsatian, second-in-command to Michelin-starred chef Julien Binz in Ammerschwihr, has distinguished himself in the world of gastronomy. The "Alsace terroirs on the map 2023" prize list
La Table d’Olivier Nasti wins the “Les terroirs d’Alsace sur carte 2023” award. It rewards the Great Wines of Alsace on their menu. The trophy was awarded to Jean-Baptiste Klein, Meilleur Ouvrier de France in sommellerie, who works at La Table d’Olivier Nasti in Kaysersberg.
The Valtrivin restaurant in Lapoutroie won first prize in the “Alsace terroirs on the map 2023” trophy in the Bistrot/Brasserie/Winstub category.
In November 2023, Valtrivin enters the Gault & Millau guide and is awarded the “table gourmande” distinction.

Pinot Noir on Mambourg soil wins Hachette award
Jennifer Fritsch, who is in charge of vinification at the family estate, sets herself apart with her attentive approach to the specific geological features of each plot. Her “Grand M” pinot noir has attracted the attention of the Hachette guide, which awarded it three stars for the 2020 vintage, along with a “Coup de cœur”.
