Find local fruit and vegetables at our farmers' markets!
The reputation of Alsatian gastronomy is well established. It is based on tasty cuisine prepared using local seasonal produce, a guarantee of quality and freshness.
Alsace’s local markets, such as those in the Kaysersberg valley, are the cradle of this authentic gastronomy. They reflect the expertise of local producers, passionate men and women who carefully cultivate fruit and vegetables, raise animals in accordance with tradition and bring our countryside and landscapes to life.
The stalls are full of organic fruit and vegetables, mountain meats and game, cheeses (such as Munster or Barkass – a mountain tomme from our region), as well as forest and flower honeys, charcuterie, delicatessen products, fruit juices, Alsace wines, brandies and craft beers.
As you stroll through the aisles of the local markets, you’ll also discover local crafts, with unique and traditional objects that bear witness to the authenticity of the region.
In the heart of our Alsatian vineyard and mountain villages, visit our weekly local markets or our summer farmers’ markets. Come and soak up the warm, friendly atmosphere of the Alsace markets and fill your basket with the products for which the region is famous.
