Sightseeings and discoveries
It is unthinkable to come to Alsace without taking one of the famous wine routes (route des vins) where we leisurely visit some wineries or without going up in altitude, along the mountains on the routes des crêtes (peaks road)
You will be likely to make a stop in the Kaysersberg Valley where the patrimonial treasures are numerous such as the military edifices which are the last remains of a heavy and bloody past in Alsace. In contrast to this, there are the colored half-timbered houses and are mixed along with the ancient Roman churches.
A variety of museums, such as one about woodcrafting, winery and about the “eaux-de-vie”, will broaden your knowledge about the culture and local traditions! The birth place of the famous doctor Albert Schweitzer will also open its doors and invite you to discover the theories of this Nobel Peace Prize winner.
