Concert - Trumpet and Organ

Michelle GUYARD, concert artist and distinguished organist at St. Merry’s and the Salpétrière Church in Paris, and Xavier MENARD, principal trumpet of the Mulhouse National Orchestra, will present a Trumpet and Organ concert titled “From Bach to Morricone” in the majestic Saint Urbain Church

This journey through the centuries beautifully illustrates how these two instruments complement each other, aiming to captivate the widest possible audience through the (re)discovery of magnificent pieces, from the Baroque era to the present day.

The program features works by Bach, Tomasi, Morricone, Delerue, Gouinguéné, Vivaldi, Vierne.

The performers will be filmed live, with the footage projected onto a screen facing the audience.

Proceeds from the concert will go toward the restoration of the original Schwenkedel organ in Les Basses Huttes.
