Heritage days - Musée des eaux de vie
As part of the Heritage Days, a free visit to discover the permanent collections, temporary exhibitions and the history of absinthe. Free tastings, including the famous house whisky. For youngsters, tastings of our artisanal syrups: cherry, lime, fir and mirabelle plum!
Discover an exhibition recalling Lapoutroie's position as a place of passage. Situated between Colmar and the Col du Bonhomme pass, Lapoutroie has always been at the confluence of the Vosges and the Alsace plain. You will first discover the Roman road linking Alsace to Saint-Dié, followed by the history of the coaching inns, then the construction of the railway line between Colmar and Lapoutroie, and finally the construction of the bypass to facilitate the transit of heavy goods vehicles.
The exhibition will take place on the first floor of the Museum, in the former hayloft of the Relais de Poste stables.
