Le Tour d'Horizon (hiking tour without luggage)
In the Kaysersberg Valley, between vineyards and mountains, a free walk invites you to escape and discover the cultural and natural wealth of this green valley. You will hike in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, in the middle of the mountains, on marked and traced paths.
A real "best seller" of Horizons Alsace, this hike has been a general favourite with all participants for 30 years.
Level: The circuit of the selected hikes is suitable for anyone in good physical condition. Possible all year round.
Duration of the hikes: 12 to 23 km per stage, about 4 to 6.30 hours walking/day - from 500 m to 830 m heigh difference.
Necessary equipment: Good walking shoes (avoid new ones), rain protection, small cool back pack for your daily needs and picnic meals, drinking bottle, table cutlery, swimming suits (some hotels have a swimming pool) and a first-aid kit.

- For à 3 days/2 nights stay: 2 nights 2 or 3 stars hotels breakfast included, 1 half-board dinners (drinks not included), 1 picnic meal, 1 itinerary available at your first hotel with technical information and a detailed 1:25000 hiking map, transport of luggage from one hotel to another, transfer to your first hotel from the nearest station OR car park, baggage transfers between hotels and booking service.
- The rate does not include:
- 1 diner in one of the village in the vineyards for the stay of 2 to 4 nights, 2 diners for the stay of 5 to 7 nights. Drinks, personal spending, transport between home and the train station of Colmar and the tourist tax to pay directly at the accommodation.
