Kaysersberg Valley Tourist Office
Starting in Munster, this is an athletic but not overly demanding route. A gentle slope at the start, following the cycle path to Turckheim, a pleasant wine-growing village... The first climb to Les Trois Epis takes in Niedermorchwihr and its church with its magnificent twisted bell tower. Then Labaroche and Orbey for the ascent to the Col du Calvaire. A 10km climb with some double-digit gradients... A route with magnificent panoramic views.
The return journey takes in the Route des Crêtes, the jewel in the crown of the Vosges Massif, before reaching Munster via the Col de la Schlucht, with its rocky cliffs and uninterrupted views of the Ballons des Vosges.
