Orientieering - Intermediate route (Yellow)
Orienteering is about knowing how to find your way on a map, read a legend, follow a route, and locate control points—all as quickly as possible. A fun activity that combines mental and physical challenges!
But above all, it’s a game that captivates young and old alike—a chance to get some fresh air in the magnificent setting of Lac Blanc.
If the blue course seemed easy to you, then you can try the yellow one. But be warned—it gets more challenging; map reading becomes more important to avoid taking too many detours, and a compass may be necessary.
The checkpoints are located deep in the forest, off the trails and paths.
Maps of the trails are available for purchase (€1) at the Auberge du Blancrupt (at the trailhead) or at the tourist office. Please note: Before heading out, be sure to check the opening hours of these sales locations, especially during the off-season.
The trail is accessible year-round, except when there is snow.
