Schoultzbach farm
By way of introduction, there are 4 of us in the Conreau family: Sylvie, Christophe and our 2 children Justine and Valentin!
We're located in Orbey, at an altitude of 800 m, in the heart of the Kaysersberg Valley, right in the center of Alsace.
We're both breeders and cheesemakers, and mountain farming has been a family affair for several generations.
Ferme du Schoultzbach is a typical Vosges mountain farm, with a small herd fed exclusively on grass: pasture in summer and hay produced on our own land in winter.
The cereals used to supplement their rations are guaranteed GMO-free and come from the cereal-growing plains of Alsace and Lorraine.
Morning and evening, after milking, the milk is transported to our cheese dairy for processing.
In the Conreau family, cheese-making is Sylvie's special domain. We process all the milk from our cows and market the products in our cheese dairy.
The famous Munster, but also mountain cheeses and farmhouse dairy products: enough to make your mouth water! Nothing but homemade products made from milk from the family farm! You'll also find products from other farmers: jams, honeys, juices, syrups, local crafts...
Due to staff shortages, we don't organize tours of the farm or cheese dairy.
