Winery Sick-Dreyer

The winery Sick, founded in the 16th century, and the winery Dreyer, established in the 18th century, joined forces in 1966. At that time, Pierre Dreyer, son of the Receiver and founder of the Saint-Etienne d'Alsace wine brotherhood, took over the management of the family estate. He joined forces with his uncle René Sick, giving birth to the Sick-Dreyer estate.
Located 8 km from Colmar, in the heart of the wine-growing village of Ammerschwihr, the Sick-Dreyer estate covers 13 hectares, mainly spread over the best terroirs in the commune. It also owns some prestigious plots, notably in the Mambourg grand cru in Sigolsheim, as well as in the neighbouring communes of Katzenthal, Ingersheim and Husseren-les-Châteaux. More than 2 hectares of the estate benefit from the Kaefferkopf appellation, the first to be officially recognised in Alsace and now classified as a Grand Cru.
All vinification and bottling is carried out exclusively on the estate. Our production focuses mainly on varietal wines.
We are open on Sundays and public holidays by appointment only. The estate also offers small meal options, available by prior arrangement only.
