Harvest begins in Alsace at the end of August 2024
We finally know the official dates for the 2024 harvest in Alsace!
The first grapes to be harvested will be those used to produce Crémant d’Alsace. The harvest will begin on Thursday 29 August 2024 in the Alsace vineyards.
For still wines, winegrowers will start harvesting on Monday 9 September 2024.
A special year in the vineyards
It was a rainy summer in Alsace, with some plots affected by mildew.
As a result, Alsace winegrowers are expecting lower yields for this vintage.
