The tarte flambée

Our suggestion
An Edelzwicker or a Pinot Gris will happily accompany a tarte flambée cooked with love!
Ingredients
- 250g of flour
- 5 cl of oil
- 2 large onions
- 120 g of bacon
- 20g butter
- 100g cottage cheese
- 10 cl heavy cream
- Nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon rapeseed oil
- Salt and pepper
Steps
- Prepare the dough using a food processor or by hand.
- Mix flour, ½ tsp. salt.
- The oil and gradually 15 cl of lukewarm water.
- Work for a few minutes to obtain a very elastic dough,
- Then leave to rest for 1 hour covered.
- Preheat your oven to 280°C.
- Slice the onions into thin strips and melt them over low heat for 5 minutes in a knob of butter, without coloring them.
- Quickly fry the bacon bits.
- Mix the cottage cheese and cream, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- On a floured work surface, roll out the dough into a circle about a millimeter thick.
- Place it on a floured baking sheet. Spread the cheese-cream mixture on the dough, then distribute the onions, the bacon bits and a tablespoon of oil.
- Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes
