Play Alsace all the way: offer a Late Harvest from the region. A Gewurztraminer or a Muscat will sublimate this recipe.
Ingredients
- 340 grams of flour
- 1 bowl of dame uches
- 4 eggs
- 50cl milk
- 20cl beer
- 8 tablespoons oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- Fine Sugar – Cinnamon
Steps
- Put the flour in the bowl.
- Add a pinch of salt then the 4 Eggs one by one.
- Mix using the whisk.
- Add the milk then the beer little by little without ceasing to stir. The batter should be quite thick.
- Add the 8 tbsp of oil then the Dameuches.
- Mix well.
- Heat a little oil in the pan.
- Put a small ladle of the mixture to form a small thick pancake.
- Cook for 5 minutes then turn over using a plate and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle with a cinnamon sugar mixture and enjoy
