Workshop - Landscape walks

Introductory plant monotype workshop as part of the "Ballade en paysages" exhibition with Sally Lewis-Ford and Jessie Marguerite Servenay. Désirée Schroetter's interest in plant printing stems from the effects produced on paper by the structures of leaves, their shapes and the emergence of lines as they pass through the press. The result is a new way of looking at nature, and particularly at what is not immediately visible. Today, her work focuses on composition and the poetry offered by the trace of living things. Her aim is to pass on this new perspective and, particularly through the creation of cards, to renew the time for writing and reflection
