Heritage Days - Badhus
Come and discover this building part of the architectural heritage of the charming medieval town of Kaysersberg.
Badhus or bridge hostelry, built in the early 17th century for the town under the direction of Johann Volrhat, the building served as an inn and gourmet's office, a municipal official responsible for accompanying you on a wine-tasting tour.
In 1872, the town installed a village hall on the first floor, the municipal baths and a washhouse on the first floor.
To learn all its secrets, explanatory panels with texts and photos will complete the very rewarding and enlightening guided tour.
