Exhibition - The paintings of Christine Doerenbecher

Somewhere between realism and abstraction, Christine Doerenbecher's paintings seek to escape from reality. The eye can lose itself in them and dream.... each one finds its own story, or invents one of its own. Transparent, highly colored oil paint with superimposed glazes. Still lifes, bouquets, nudes and landscapes alternate over the years. This exhibition reflects 25 years of painting and pleasure.
