Au pied du Château du Schlossberg

Let yourself be transported back to the Middle Ages through the tales and legends of the castles of Alsace, in particular the one in Kaysersberg.

For one day, Kaysersberg castle becomes a veritable living theater. Shows, concerts, dance, writing workshops, medieval battles and participatory activities invite young and old to plunge into a fantastic medieval world.

A festive, family-friendly day to let yourself be carried away by Le Chant des Pierres!

Program:

With Lames d'en Temps, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a medieval camp: battles, camp life, demonstrations and workshops all day long. Between weapons and armor, ancient games and siege machines, young and old discover and test with members of the association.

Writing workshop with Les Mondes de Lundazepa: Lundazepa has sent you on a quest for strange magical artifacts, and now you're back on Alsatian soil.

How did it go? Have you met the elves, forged with the dwarves, danced with the trolls?

It's time to recount your adventures and unravel the mysteries of your travels. (From age 10, subject to availability).

11.30 am and 2 pm: "Les noces folles de Biergottsaubersheim" show by the Caravane des illuminés avertisés.

Once upon a time, there were three ordinary dwarfs, without glory or great powers... except that of getting into trouble. In this story of a wedding, one misunderstanding follows another, and you may well find yourself caught up in their misadventures. Friendly advice: run away before it's too late!

Humor, surprises, audience interaction and suspense punctuate this fantastic, high-energy show for the whole family.

12.30 pm and 3 pm: "Erdmannele - Le Chant des Nains sous la Montagne" concert by La Compagnie des Regains / Kalamus.

From the depths of the mountains, where the hammer strikes the ore and the secrets of the earth resonate, a new harmony emerges. Kalamus forges a mineral-sounding concert, born of rock, fire and wind, carried by ancient instruments, percussion and song. The melodies draw on Germanic, Scandinavian and Celtic traditions, and make stone and metal vibrate. Erdmannele arrives: the time of legends is back!

1 pm and 3.30 pm: medieval dance workshop by Les Joyeux Bransleurs.

Les Joyeux Bransleurs bring medieval and Renaissance dances back to life in the heart of the château. After a few demonstrations, the round dance opens up to the public: learn a few steps, let yourself be guided and enter the dance. A participatory event, with choreography and costumes inspired by historical sources.

1.30 pm and 3.30 pm : Fighting skits by Lames d'en Temps.
