20th role-playing festival

Come with your family or friends to discover the many facets of role-playing in Kaysersberg!

For its 20th edition, the Role Playing Game Festival plunges you into a fantastic universe around mythical animals and legendary creatures. Over the course of a weekend, Kaysersberg is transformed into a veritable adventure playground, where young and old alike can learn, play, solve puzzles and watch shows in a friendly atmosphere.

The heart of the festival remains role-playing, with over 300 games scheduled and nearly 1,500 players expected. Whether you're a beginner or an enthusiast, you'll be able to take part in initiations or longer games in a wide variety of universes: medieval-fantasy, antiquity, science fiction, contemporary, the 20s, or inspired by great sagas. Games are accessible to children aged 3 and over, and numerous registrations are possible on site throughout the weekend.

You'll also be able to take part in a life-size scripted animation accessible to everyone aged 3 and over. Through quests and challenges (riddles, agility games, duels...), the public takes on the role of a character and lets themselves be carried along by the story imagined by the masters of the game.

This year, a new feature will be added to the program.

This year, a new feature has been added to the program: a participatory Actual Play on Saturday evening. Led by Geek Fabula and several guests, this adventure will plunge the public into the world of the Chronicles of Aetherion, in the heart of the streets of Kaysersberg, with riddles and choices directly influencing the scenario.

The festival also features several escape games and playful adventures for all ages, cloak-and-dagger shows, storytelling, and a fire show at dusk. Visitors will also be able to discover an exhibition based on the festival's theme and an exhibition of playful works and books at the Saint-Michel Chapel.

Finally, enjoy the rolístico-fantastic market with publishers, artisans and boutiques, try your luck at the tombola, try your hand at axe-throwing and take a break at the tavern, where on-site catering is available.
