Exhibition - Hanging memories
Anita Brendgens' installations are fragments of people's pasts and their histories. Using paper she creates herself, she reconstructs everyday objects to which, she gives a fragmentary dimension.
These pieces of everyday life are suspended in space using cotton threads. Her in-situ installations find their place in Alspach Abbey, where, among other things, she has created an installation entitled "Mémoire - Pour l'avenir!" (Memory - For the future!), which echoes current events.
She has also created an installation entitled "Mémoire - Pour l'avenir!" (Memory - For the future!), which echoes current events.
