Basket makers market

Basketry is an art to be rediscovered, a passion to be shared at the Basketmakers' Market in Orbey. This year, the 5th edition will focus on Germany.

Art'B invites you to its basketry market, an exhibition accompanied by a short film, as well as courses offered by our German guests.

On the programme:

Film: "20/23: Making of": presents the creative work of the final year students of the Lichtenfels basketry school, short film directed by Jennifer RUBACH, basketmaker. Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday 10am to 6pm.

Exhibition:

Graduation works: exhibition of works created by students at the Lichtenfels basket-weaving school (shown in the film).

-Discreet willow flowers: exhibition of photos taken by Erick GERARD, botanist.

Workshops :

Run by German basket-makers.

Market:

Around twenty professionals will be present at the basketmakers' market, as well as German basketmakers.

Workshops for children from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm - registration on site.

Snacks and drinks available on site.
