Devin's pond
Etang du Devin, a peat bog discovered in 1442, is located near the Tête des Faux. The melting of a glacier in the past hollowed out the mountain, and the melting of the glacier created the remains of the Etang du Devin today.
A protected environment, the Etang du Devin's flora makes it an ideal place to rest, but it's also a mysterious and wild site, much to the delight of hikers and botanists.
From the centre of Lapoutroie, you can hike to this peat bog and take advantage of this soothing moment to have lunch in the peace and quiet of this place with the picnic table .
