Cycling tour - Between vineyards and forests
A hilly circuit between vineyards and steep hills.
From Kaysersberg, take the cycle path to Kientzheim, Sigolsheim, then Ingersheim. Continue towards Turckheim, where the imposing Porte de France guards the entrance to this wine-growing town. Continue towards Eguisheim via Wettolsheim. Once in Eguisheim, a charming medieval town, take time to discover its original architecture and flower-filled streets. Continue on to Husseren les Châteaux, where your ascent to the Eguisheim and Hohlandsbourg castles, encircled by a sturdy wall, begins. After passing through a pleasant chestnut forest, start your descent to Turckheim via Wintzenheim. Return to Kaysersberg via Turckheim and the cycle path that skirts the vineyards and passes through the villages of Katzenthal and Ammerschwihr.
