The Col de Fréland lookout was built by the Germans during the First World War. This location offered an unobstructed view of the whole canton of Lapoutroie and the various battlefields (Linge, tête des Faux).
The pink Vosges sandstone structure is imposing. It is an ideal place to take superb landscape shots. An orientation table allows you to find your way easily.
