Come and get some height ! The Faudé tower was once used as an observation point. From the top of the tower you can admire a magnificent 360° panorama.
In the heart of the Kaysersberg valley stands the Tour du Faudé, a landmark of the Welche region.
The first tower was built in 1889 and collapsed in 1934 when hit by French shells. A second tower was built at the request of the Club Vosgiens, but also collapsed in 1944 when hit by German shells.
It was in 1990 that the Faudé tower, which can be seen today, was built by volunteers from the 'Les Fadas' association.
You can get there with a hike. At the top, you can admire a 360° view of the Welche landscape and the surrounding area.
