The Fréland workshop, formerly named Art boucherie, was created in 2015 to meet a growing need, the sale of venison.
Specializing in the cutting of large game, it brings in only wild animals hunted sustainably in the Vosges Mountains.
Edouard, a nature lover and passionate hunter, had noticed for several years that at the end of each day of hunting, the game taken did not find any takers or ended up in our freezers. He then asked himself: how to avoid this enormous waste?
Vianney, who is crazy about gastronomy, wondered about the fact that game is reserved for grandma's cooking, for long simmering dishes in sauce, which we only eat in winter. So how to make this excellent meat more accessible and simple to cook?
The idea was launched: collect the unconsumed game directly from the hunters, then cook it in easily consumable dishes to make the most of it!
