Moving around in Alsace

Good, we aren’t hiding it from you, it’s better to come with your own car. With this means of transportation, you will be free to go where you want and when you want!

However, if you wish to use Alsatian public transportation, here are some keys to help you around.

The TER Alsace (the local train system) will let you go across the region from north to south, from Strasbourg to Bâle while passing through Sélestat, Colmar and Mulhouse.

See the SNCF website

The small villages in the Kaysersberg Valley are served by the bus line 145 of the Kunegel Coach Services. This shuttle can be taken to Colmar which is the hub for the network of transportation departures.

See the Kunegel Coaches website

During the summer, in order to get to the Lac Blanc and our beautiful mountains, take the Mountain shuttle coach (la navette des crêtes). It roams through the different valleys and the summits in the mountains. All there is to do now, choose the direction you want to go!

For the period of the Christmas markets, a special shuttle bus connecting

Colmar to Kaysersberg and serving other villages like Ribeauvillé and Riquewihr, is put into place specifically for this event. It allows you to visit

Different places without hassle or stress of looking for a parking spot or getting caught in traffic.
