Picnic area - The spring of the Lac Blanc

After a 45-minute walk up the ridge from the Col du Calvaire, take a short break to quench your thirst or eat a snack at this lovely picnic area.

Admire the sublime panorama, offering a breathtaking view of the white lake which takes its name from the colour of the crystalline sand that lines its bottom.

You can then continue your hike in the direction of the Gazon du Faing, a granite summit that dominates the Orbey valley and the Munster valley.
