Jazz in the cellar
In October 2020, the gypsy jazz group LE CHINOIS, led by Sébastien Kauffmann, presented its new opus "COUCOU" in the large cellar of the Confrérie in Kaysersberg Vignoble. Moreover, the video clip of this song COUCOU was shot at the castle
During this album release, a tasting of our Alsatian nectars was scheduled at the same time, and we liked this concept, mixing jazz and tasting.
You know our love of jazz, especially before the Colmar jazz festival. So what could be more natural than to offer you a great concert and tasting evening on Thursday 16 June with LE CHINOIS as part of "jazz au caveau".
When you think of LE CHINOIS, you instantly think of Django Reinhardt, whose spiritual son he could be, as the guitar flows from his fingers. His latest album perfectly reflects this state of mind, a daring album, a playful album, a sometimes languid album but above all a sincere album.
The Councillors of the Confrérie will comment on the wines served to the lovers of Alsace wines, the latest winners of the tasting to award the Sigille de qualité. Moments of pleasure and exchange in a prestigious setting of the Alsatian vineyard.
