Exposition - Refuge
The Dutch artist Anna van Bohemen finds 'Refuge' in the timeless setting of Alspach Abbey.
This is no coincidence: the abbey, in the middle of a paper recycling site, bears witness to our ancient culture and our present way of life. The artist's installations symbolise the different functions of a space as a refuge and repository of culture. Paper, newspapers, wax, embroidered poems, wire, wicker, cane, wood, Anna van Bohemen is a jack-of-all-trades who has already exhibited in numerous galleries and at paper events in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands...
