This cemetery is located in the middle of a forest, at an altitude of 877 meters and covers an area of 9902m². There are 3538 French soldiers buried there, including 2171 graves and two ossuaries containing 1288 bodies. At the end of the war, it was dedicated to the National Necropolis.
At the bottom of the cemetery is a huge granite cross of 13 meters to not forget the suffering of the soldiers and the gravity of what they underwent.
