Sensitive memories
Past conflicts have left traces.
The old battle fields of the First World War, such as Linen (le Linge) and the Tête des Faux, are a testimony to sensitive memories. To contribute to the work of memory, the Linen memorial museum of Linen recalls the history and the life of the two camps.
Caught in the clutches of the Second World War, the area was, once again, the theatre of terrible confrontations. Several steles and plates mark the sacrifices allowed in the name of liberation.
A discovery of these war landscapes in memory of history.
